Collective Birth Support

What you get with Rise Reproductive

Prenatal

Access to 3 doulas, birth preference planning, hours of prenatal prep in your home.

Birth

Multiple people on call for you, 24/7. Continuous labor support, in person, with no specific time limit.

Education

Spinning Babies informed, childbirth education, newborn care and mind/body connection classes.

Postpartum

Lots of postpartum check-ins, and a home visit within 2 weeks of your birth.

Nonjudgmental care, regardless of your plans.

We support families in all settings. Whether you prefer a birth with no medical interventions, know you want an epidural, or think you may need an induction – we help you make the most of it.

Prenatal home care, continuous birth companionship, and postpartum support.

All three doulas do a two-hour prenatal home visit with you, going over physiology and comfort in pregnancy, birth preferences, postpartum planning and a lot more. All of our clients are welcome to join any number of classes Daniella teaches through Newton Wellesley Hospital while we’re working together (at no extra fee!).

When your baby decides it’s time…

We stay in touch throughout early labor, offering suggestions for comfort and movement over the phone/video. As you progress and may be having a harder time coping, one of us joins you, and plans to stay through the remainder of your birth and a few hours postpartum. Many of our clients are equally comfortable with all three doulas as potential support people, but some may have a special connection with one of us (shout out to our repeat families<3), and we do all we can on our end to prioritize that connection and support each other in supporting you! No matter what, you get a doula that knows you, has spent hours preparing for this with you, and personally knows your plans and preferences.

After your birth.

Your doula stays with you for the first few hours postpartum, checks in frequently in the first several days via text or phone, and remains available to support you emotionally, informationally and with resources. The doula who gets to attend your birth also does a postpartum home visit within the first week or two. We’ll debrief a bit, see how your initial adjustments are going, and help you make a plan for ongoing support and resources when needed.

Our main service area. Please feel free to reach out if you think we’d be a good fit, even if you’re slightly outside this map.

The investment.

Since the beginnings of our solo-practices, we’ve always held financial accessibility close to our hearts. We would never turn away a family who feels we’re a good fit due to lack of resources.

Using an adapted version of Alexis J. Cunningfolk’s iconic green bottles, we provide families a wide price range for this birth doula offering. Most families pay between $1,600 and $2,600. The folks who can afford to pay toward the top end help sustain us in taking low cost families when needed! And yes, we can take MassHealth.
